Our Community

Brunswick River Cottages is nestled on the banks of the Brunswick River and our contented residents enjoy the township of Brunswick and all it has to offer. A hidden treasure in the Harvey Shire, Brunswick is a vibrant small town with shopping and recreation options. Brunswick River Cottages also boasts an excellent social atmosphere with access to all the local community has to offer including:

• Those who like to keep active can wander down to the Brunswick River and take a stroll along one of the walking paths

• Take the Australind Train direct to Perth or Bunbury

• Seniors can join the Harvey Senior Citizens and take social bus trips around the South West

• Keep active and busy playing bowls or tennis,

• Attend one of the local churches

• Weekly community bingo

• Volunteer at one of the local Primary Schools

• Enjoy the friendly country people at the community garden or Community Centre (the Community Centre has a small library, op-shop, printing services, internet support, runs events and workshops and even produces the local Moospaper)

 

Brunswick River Cottages is a community-based organisation that, in partnership with the Shire of Harvey, provides accommodation for residents over 55 in the quiet country town of Brunswick Junction. The Brunswick River Cottages (INC) partnership is the not-for-profit organisation responsible for the overall governance of the facilities.
